Option 1 Preoccupancy Air Testing (1–2 points) 预入住空气检测(1–2分)

After construction finishes and all interior finishes have been installed, conduct baseline indoor air quality testing for all regularly occupied spaces using the current versions of the EPA or ISO methods listed for each contaminant. The number of sampling locations must meet Table 1 requirements. If a project is to be occupied in stages, sampling locations must be located in the spaces that will be occupied first.

施工完成且所有室内装修安装完毕后,对全部常规使用空间进行基线室内空气质量检测。如项目分阶段入住,采样位置须设于将首先使用的空间。

Test for the contaminants listed in Table 2, Particulate Matter and Inorganic Gases. For each contaminant, results must not exceed the limits in Table 2.

In addition to testing for PM and inorganic gases, test for the contaminants listed in Table 3, Volatile Organic Compounds. For each contaminant, results must not exceed the limits in Table 3.

Option 2 Continuous Indoor Air Monitoring (1 point) 连续室内空气监测(1分)

Install and maintain permanent, real-time indoor air quality monitors that measure and report on the following parameters:

Mount monitors at breathing zone level — 3 to 6 feet (1–2 meters) above floor level. Install and maintain at least one monitor per each floor of the building, placed in a location representative of the occupied zone of that floor. For buildings over 50,000 square feet (4,645 square meters), install one additional monitor per every additional 50,000 square feet (4,645 square meters).

Configure all monitors to transmit real-time data to a building-grade monitoring system, a cloud-based dashboard or to the building automation system, and make data available to building occupants and facility managers through a publicly accessible interface.

Provide signage or visual displays that communicate real-time data to building occupants, or allow access through devices such as QR codes.
