INTENT 意图

To reduce direct greenhouse gas emissions from refrigerants and to encourage early adoption of buildings that do not use harmful refrigerants to support a just transition of the HVAC&R industry.

OPTION 1 No Refrigerants or Low-Impact Refrigerants (2 points)

Do not use refrigerants, OR use only refrigerants (naturally occurring or synthetic) that have an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero and a global warming potential (GWP) of less than 10.

不使用制冷剂,或仅使用ODP为零且GWP<10的制冷剂(天然或合成)。

OPTION 2 Calculation of Refrigerant Impact (1 point)

Calculate the lifecycle refrigerant GWP for all HVAC&R systems serving the project, and demonstrate that it does not exceed the maximum thresholds in Table 1.

计算所有服务于项目的暖通空调制冷系统的全生命周期制冷剂GWP,并证明不超过表1的最大值。

Calculation Method 计算方法:

LCGWP = Σ [ (GWPr × (Lr × 寿命 + Mr) × Rc × 全生命周期) ] / Qtotal

where: LCGWP = lifecycle GWP per ton cooling; GWPr = refrigerant GWP; Lr = annual leak rate (2%); Mr = end-of-life loss (10%); Rc = refrigerant charge per system; Qtotal = total cooling capacity in tons.
