OPTION 1 Demand Response Programs (1–2 points) 需求响应计划(1–2分)
Demand Response Participation (1 point) / 需求响应参与(1分)
Design building and systems so they are capable of participating in a demand response program through temporary load shedding or load shifting. Provide infrastructure to accept demand response requests and to respond to a demand response signal.
Contract and Test (2 points) / 签约并测试(2分)
- Contract with a qualified demand response provider for at least one year.
- Within 18 months of substantial completion, perform a demand response test verifying shed of at least 10% of the building total peak electricity demand.
- Residential: Demonstrate aggregate shedding capability of ≥10% peak building demand. Enroll and activate at least 10% of dwelling units (minimum 5 units) in a utility or third-party DR program.
- C&S: Include a narrative in tenant design and construction guidelines describing demand response and tenant participation options.

GEB Capability (2 points)
Design building with all of the following capabilities:
- Efficient: Building complies with EAc3–Path 2 achieving at least 10% improvement over ASHRAE 90.1-2022. 符合EAc3-Path 2且较90.1-2022改进≥10%。
- Connected: Automated, continuous, two-way communication with the grid. Accept grid signals for continuous load management. 与电网进行自动化、连续的双向通信。
