To encourage reduced leakage of older refrigerants with high global warming potential (GWP) and ozone-depleting potential (ODP), and to encourage the installation of equipment using refrigerants with low GWP.

Enhanced Refrigerant Management Performance 1–2 Refrigerant Leakage Emissions Ratio To calculate the refrigerant leakage emissions ratio, divide the total GWP of the refrigerants leaked during the 12-month reporting period by the total weight of all refrigerants present in the project. Points are awarded according to Table 1.
