LEED is updated continuously through a regular five-year development cycle of revision to the rating systems. Since its inception, LEED has maintained its same basic structure (categories, prerequisites, and credits), while evolving and adapting to meet the challenges that project teams face. Ways LEED Rating System is Updated: • Implementation and maintenance of the current version by issuing clarifications and updates • Adaptation of the current version for specific space types and international projects • Development of the next version of LEED, including multiple avenues for stakeholder input and final approval	LEED 评级体系的更新方式： • 通过发布澄清和更新来实施和维护当前版本 • 为特定空间类型和国际项目适配当前版本 • 开发下一版 LEED，包括利益相关方意见的多渠道输入和最终批准
The development of new LEED versions is an iterative process. Ideas are often tested by LEED project teams even before a new version is fully developed and approved by USGBC members.
