In order to achieve LEED certification, a project must meet all prerequisite requirements and earn enough points through credit achievement. 要获得 LEED 认证,项目必须满足所有先决条件要求,并通过得分项获得足够的分数。
Each credit in LEED has a specific point value. Each credit's point value is determined based on the anticipated benefit that it will provide to human health and the environment. This anticipated benefit is based on a specific set of impact categories (e.g., global warming, water pollutants, indoor air quality). The potential for each credit to have beneficial impacts across these categories determines the amount of points it is worth. In other words, credits that are likely to have the biggest environmental or social impact are worth the most points. By assigning the most impactful credits more points, LEED incentivizes project teams to pursue them. This process of assigning a number of points to each credit based on its potential impact and benefit is known as credit weightings. While LEED uses credit weightings to incentivize certain strategies, projects have the flexibility to pursue whichever combination of credits is the best fit for their project. 虽然 LEED 使用得分权重来激励某些策略,但项目具有灵活性,可以追求最适合其项目的得分项组合。
There are four levels of LEED certification:
LEED Certified®(认证级): 40–49 points earned
